Earlier this year, we were thrilled to be invited by Marcus Rashford to contribute to his inspirational children's book 'You are a Champion'. And we're even more thrilled now to learn that we have won WHSmith's Book of the Year award!

As Katie, Moonshot Co-Founder explains, "everyone has a right to dream, but not everyone has the right support or opportunity to find their voice and unlock their potential. Books can play a key role in inspiring young people to believe in themselves and work hard to achieve their dreams."

Teaming up with footballer Marcus Rashford and sports journalist Carl Anka was a huge privilege and the resulting book 'You are a Champion' has gone on to be a national best-seller. The book features highlights from our 'SPARK for Young People' course and is based around the life experiences of Rashford himself. 

 

At Moonshot, we are so passionate about helping young people; they deserve the best from us all. We are also deeply inspired by Marcus Rashford's courage on and off the field. He is a brilliant reminder that dreams can come true and that through hard work and resilience, we can all learn and improve. He also reminds us that sport is about so much more than medals and trophies. It's about making a difference in the world.
